Lord today I pray that we have the faith to see You within our current situations. May we be reminded of Your Love for us as we attempt to do Your will. Allow us to accept where You have placed us, and guide us through discernment so we will know the place you want us to be. Lord even though we have our own dreams and desires help us to become better servants to You and trust that You know best. Stand by us through or anguish, close to us in our joys, and forever near us each day. Open our eyes to see You better, our ears to Hear your voice, and our hearts to You so that we may embrace everything You offer with Love. Lord I also ask that You help each of us understand that wherever we are You are near. Give us the patience and faith to truly know that You are always on time. (C.C.)
Hey CC, this is a tough lesson. Seeing God even in the bad times but it is an important lesson. I think of Joseph. I think of Daniel. God didn't show up at the opportune time - God was there through it all we as humans only see Him when it is going our way. I am pretty sure Joseph was wondering about Him when he was sold by slaves but God had full authoirty over all events but in order for Joseph to reach where he did these events had to occur. Lord, I pray, that I too will see Christ at all times - good and bad
